| Kathleen Hilda Christner, 80, of 70 Grant Street, Salisbury,
PA, died Monday, August 9, 2004, at the Resh home in Confluence, PA. Born
February 25, 1924, in Coal Run, PA, she was the daughter of the late Andrew
and Elizabeth (Hinebaugh) Hotchkiss. She was preceded in death by her husband,
Everett Fay Christner; a son, Roger; four brothers, Leroy, Harold, Bill
and Fay; two sisters, Ethel Hotchkiss and Shirley Engle; and
a granddaughter, Lisa. She is survived by two sons, David, Birdsboro, PA, and Randy, Meyersdale, PA; one daughter, Sherry Ross, Somerset; one sister, Elaine Franklin, Meyersdale; 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Mrs. Christner was a homemaker. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home, Inc.,
9168 Mason-Dixon Highway, Salisbury, Tuesday 2-4 and 2-9 PM. Funeral services
will be conducted at the funeral home Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral
home with the Rev. Paul H. Yoder
