Born October 26, 1929, in St. Paul, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Harry and Effie (Bodes) Rhoden. She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Baer, June 18, 1998. 

Surviving is one daughter, Kathy L. Baer, Salisbury. 

Mrs. Baer was a retired clerk for Hill Top Fruit Market, Grantsville, Md. and prior to that was a seamstress for Meyersdale Manufacturing Co. She was a member of Meyersdale VFW 3504 Auxiliary and Casselman Valley Sportsmen’s Club.
