Ronald Joseph Weimer, 66, of 229 Sunnyvale Rd., Meyersdale, Pa., died Thursday, June 19, 2003, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown, Pa. 

Born April 18, 1937, in Meyersdale, he was a son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Bittinger) Weimer. Also preceded in death by his sister, Kathleen. 

Survived by his wife, Faye E. (Whitmoyer) Weimer; four sons, Kevin L. and wife, Donna, Meyersdale; Robert N., Garrett, Pa.; Jeffrey O. and wife, Tracy, Rockwood, Pa.; Keith A., Salisbury, Pa.; three daughters, Alisa A. Romesburg and husband, Laird; and Michele D. Chipikitis, all of Salisbury; Danette M. Weimer, Meyersdale; five grandchildren, Heather, Brooke and Shawn Romesburg, Aaron & Eric Chipikitis; and one step grandson, Thomas Wegman. 

Member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, West Salisbury, Pa. and was retired after 35 years as a heavy equipment operator for Keystone Lime Co. 

Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home, Inc. 9168 Mason-Dixon Hwy, Salisbury, on Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, with the Rev. Albert J. Anselmi officiating. Interment, St. Michael’s Cemetery.
