Rhea Virginia Hetrick



 

Rhea Virginia Hetrick of 115 Rock Street, Salisbury, Pennsylvania, died January 4, 2005 at her residence. She was a loving aunt, good neighbor and loyal friend. 

Born February 7, 1926 in Salisbury, she was the daughter of the late Roy S. and Mary M. (Glotfelty). She was preceded in death by her step-mother, Blanche, one brother, Mark E. Hetrick and sister, Miriam E. Garlitz. 

She is survived by her beloved cairn terrier “Teddy”. Also surviving are one foster sister, Winnie Mishler, one sister-in-law, Shirley Hetrick and the following nieces and nephews, their children and grandchildren, Chip, Larry and Doug Hetrick; David & Sam Garlitz; Mary Shunk and Ruth Romesberg; David, Jennifer and Tori Hetrick and Marc & Mike Shunk; Ryan and Tanner Hetrick and Annika Shunk and numerous cousins. 

Ms. Hetrick retired from Baltimore Gas & Electric in 1988 and since then enjoyed gardening, bird watching and traveling. She also was an active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Salisbury.
