MARY E ROBINETTE

Mary E. Robinette, 79, of 871 Engle's Mill Road, Salisbury, died Thursday, Oct. 29, 1998, at Sacred Heart Hospital. Born Jan. 26, 1919, in Salisbury, she was the daughter of the late Herbert C. Smalley and Mary E. (Wagner) Smalley. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh S. Robinette, on June 14, 1987; and two brothers, Clarence and Daniel Smalley.   Mrs. Robinette was a homemaker and worked at the New England Gear Works, Salisbury. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Salisbury; and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Surviving are two daughters, Mary Rebecca House, Grantsville, and Elizabeth Ann Emerick, Salisbury; three sons, Craig, of Flint, Mich., Brian S., of Salisbury, and Hal S., of Fayetteville,  N.C.; one sister, Maude Hockenberry, Salisbury; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home, P.A., Grantsville, Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Sunday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Raymond Brown officiating.

Interment will be in the Salisbury Cemetery.
