SALISBURY, Pa.-Edmund Anthony Lynn Sr., 85, of 839 Savage Road, Salisbury, died Sunday, Dec. 6, 1998, at Meyersdale Medical Center, Meyersdale. Born Sept. 19, 1913, in St. Boniface, he was a son of the late Arthur and Agnes (McClelland)

Lynn and was also preceded in death by a brother, Joseph. He was a member of Maple Glen Church of the Brethren. He served in the Civilian Conservation Camp and was a retired chemical mixer for Kelly Springfield Tire Company. He was a member of Meyersdale Lodge #554, Free & Accepted Masons, Harrisburg Consistory and Meyersdale Chapter #272, York Rite.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret A. (Folk) Lynn; two sons, William A. Lynn, O'Fallon, Mo., Edmund A. Lynn Jr., Salisbury; a daughter, Patricia Jane Shumaker, Salisbury; a brother Vaughn  Lynn, Bedford; five sisters, Mary Humbert, Toledo, Ohio, Helen Mardis and Rita Maher, both of Johnstown, Alberta Armstrong, Ebensburg, Genevieve McLaughlin, Phoenix, Ariz.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a close friend, Ray Gatterman, Addison.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., Grantsville, Md., where services will be conducted on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev.  Daniel Whitacre officiating. Interment will be in Maple Glen Cemetery. Meyersdale Lodge #554, F. & A.M. will conduct a memorial service on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
