Frank William Ferraro


 
Frank William Ferraro, 58, of 108 Grant Street, Salisbury, PA, died Tuesday, July 27, 2004 at his residence after a 5 ½ year long, courageous fight with lung cancer. 

Born May 5, 1946 at Meyersdale, PA, he was the son of the late Samuel R. and Beatrice (Holler) Ferraro. He was preceded in death by two brothers, James Ferraro and John Ferraro. 

Mr. Ferraro was a self-employed Barber and worked as Lead Foreman at Stanton’s and Maple Mtn. Industries. He was a member of Shunk Run Hunt Club and St. John’s United Church of Christ. 

He is survived by his wife, Sherri M. (Bodes) Ferraro; one son, Anthony, Salisbury, PA; two daughters, Tina, wife of Ray Devine, Accident, MD, Amber Ferraro, Pittsburgh, PA; one step-son, Richard Maust, Springs, PA; one step-daughter, Lori, wife of Jeff Haines, Frostburg, MD; one brother, Samuel, husband of Shelly Ferraro, Meyersdale, PA; one sister, Rosemary Ferraro, Woodbine, MD; five grandchildren, Tara, Tanya and Tori Devine, Brent Maust and Carli Haines. 

Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home, Inc., 9168 Mason Dixon Highway, Salisbury, PA, Thursday, 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, July 30, 2004 at 11:00 am with Pastor Tommy Holliday officiating. At Mr. Ferraro’s request, his body will then be cremated. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
