Carolyn L. Toots Sperry


CAROLYN L SPERRY 

SPRINGS, Pa. Carolyn L. Toots Sperry, 89, formerly of Springs, died on Monday, Jan. 21, 2002, at Beverly Healthcare, Meyersdale.

Born on Oct. 2, 1912, in Elk Lick Township, she was the daughter of the late Abraham G. and Elizabeth (Moran) Livengood. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles J. Sperry on May 15, 1985; and two sisters, Augusta Sperry and Phyllis Ryan.

Surviving are two daughters, Maryjane Robertson and husband Don, Springs, and Carolyn Joni Hollada and husband Dick, Salisbury; and three grandchildren, Jessica Robertson, Gettysburg, Geoffrey Robertson, Salisbury, and Kelli Hollada, State College.

Mrs. Sperry attended Salisbury Church of the Brethren and was a retired seamstress for Salisbury Undergarment Factory. She was also an Avon Lady.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2002, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Newman Funeral Home, Inc., 9168 Mason-Dixon Hwy., Salisbury, where services will be conducted on Friday, Jan. 25, 2002, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. David E. Fetter officiating. 
Interment will be in Salisbury Cemetery.
