Betty Marlene Lansberry, 46, of 10136 Mason-Dixon Highway, Salisbury, died Sunday, Sept. 19, 1999, at her residence. Born July 17, 1953, in Salisbury, she was a daughter of the late Stewart N. and Mae E. (Wilt) Simpkins.

Mrs. Lansberry was the food service director for Deer Valley YMCA Camp, Fort Hill, Pa. She is survived by her husband, Richard L. Lansberry; four brothers, Bernard Simpkins, Richland, Wash., Robert Simpkins, Merritt Island, Fla., Stanley Simpkins, Clovis, Calif., and Walter Simpkins, Salisbury; two sisters, Patsy Simpkins, Virginia, and Nancy Brink, Altoona, Pa.

Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., Grantsville, Md., on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Raymond Brown officiating.
