Annabelle Bittinger

Annabelle Bittinger, 78, of 283 Doneytown Road, Meyersdale, died Sunday, Jan. 23, 2005, at her residence.

Born June 26, 1926, at Jennings, she was the daughter of the late Loman and Lola (Hoover) Wilt. Mrs. Bittinger was preceded in death by her husband, Clark L. Bittinger; two sons, Bobby Fazenbaker and Clarkie Bittinger; and one-half brother, Frank Hay.

Mrs. Bittinger was a homemaker. 
She is survived by her companion, Thomas Hollada; six sons, David Bittinger and wife Norma, Frostburg, Ronald Bittinger, Tony Bittinger, Kevin Bittinger and companion LeAnn Werner, all of Meyersdale, Kenneth Bittinger and companion Robin Brant, Salisbury and George Bittinger and companion Christine Shuck, Central City; six daughters, Linda Merrill and husband Ray, Salisbury, Beverly Butler and husband Kenny, Mary Diehl and husband Barry, Roxanne Kyle and husband Randy, all of Meyersdale, Rita Brown and husband Jimmy, Boynton and Joeanne Steras and husband Ted, Garrett; two brothers, Calvin Wilt and Fay Wilt, both of Grantsville; one-half brother, Paul Hay, Meyersdale; four sisters, Shirleen Bittinger, Boynton, Alverta Stanton, Betty Jane Beachy and Marie Fazenbaker, all of Grantsville; one-half sister, Mary Etta Hay, Salisbury; 32 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. 
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. 
Services will be conducted there on Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Thomas Twigg officiating. 
Interment will be in the Bittinger Cemetery.
